Well, first entry.
There's a lot to say about firsts... the first day of school, the first kiss, the first girlfriend, the first lay, the first car, the first anything. There's an irony to firsts, it's something that is always built up and whether or not it lives up to what is expected, it'll never be the best, or far from it. Why then, do we care so much about firsts? It's a matter of anticipation... anxiety, if you must. On and on we build an expectancy in our heads of the way things should be, and we then await the moment in which it will happen. It's this state of mind that makes our life a little bit more worth living, because it's a known fact that once routine begins, once we give up on firsts, we lose something, and that something gives interest to things, it gives anticipation...
I suppose my piece of advice for today is don't lose your will to experience new firsts. You will regret it.
